Broadbeach Waters
Situated just inland from Broadbeach is the Gold Coast’s version of Venice – Broadbeach Waters. It is one of the older suburbs on the Gold Coast and has kilometres of canals. Broadbeach Waters has everything you need plus more, and is close to the largest shopping centre on the Coast and one of the largest in Queensland, Pacific Fair. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and Conrad Jupiters Casino are major drawcards to the area.

Robina train station is a twenty-minute bus ride from Pacific Fair. Buses run frequently through this area and being so central it doesn’t take long to journey anywhere on the Gold Coast.

For many years Broadbeach has been renowned for its beautiful beach, shops and night life and nothing has changed today. Take a swim at the beach before dining at one of the many restaurants and cafes. The flavours of the world are on offer in Broadbeach with everything from Thai, seafood and Italian to hamburgers on offer. The Kurrawa Surf Club is very popular with both locals and tourists and is a great place to dine with a view of the ocean. Opposite Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is Conrad Jupiters Casino which holds enough entertainment on its own to keep visitors happy with gambling, live shows, conventions and six restaurants not to mention accommodation. Just across the road from the Casino is the Gold Coast Convention Centre that holds conferences, concerts and exhibitions and is also the home ground of the basketball team the Gold Coast Blaze, the NBL’s newest team. Extensive bike and walking paths cater for children and fitness enthusiasts alike. Nearby Cascade Gardens is also worth a visit.

Five minutes from Conrad Jupiters Casino is Surfers Paradise Golf Club which is a 18-hole, 72-par course that welcomes visitors. Other nearby courses include Robina Woods, The Colonial, Palm Meadows and Lakelands.
